Upcoming Dates: April - August, 2025
1
Virtual Space Analog Mission Engagement
Bring space exploration into your classroom, no rocket required! This virtual initiative allows students to shadow space analog missions through live Q&A sessions, interactive mission briefings, and exclusive behind-the-scenes insights from mission crew members. Students will gain a firsthand look at astronaut health, planetary science, and mission operations, all from their school or home.
2
Hands-on Space Workshops & Activities
Our team will virtually visit schools and community groups, bringing hands-on STEM workshops that include astronaut training exercises, space mission planning, and planetary science experiments. Students will simulate astronaut health studies, design their own space missions, and explore real-world challenges in space research through exciting and interactive activities.
3
Space STEM Mentorship & Leadership Program
Connect students with one-on-one mentorship from mission crew members. This program pairs up students with mission crew members for career guidance, network opportunities, skill development, and research mentorship for students interested in space science and STEM careers. Students will have access to research mentorship and career-building workshops to help them take their passion for space to the next level.
4
Post-Mission Knowledge Transfer & Open Data Resources
Making space research accessible to everyone. Students and educators will gain access to mission datasets, experiment results, and scientific findings through our open-access repository on GitHub. This initiative also includes virtual research workshops, educator resources, and student-led STEM discussions to help classrooms engage with leading research topics in the space sector. Beyond data sharing, the Gravitas Research Corps is available for community talks, panels, and podcasts to share insights from our space analog research and mission findings as well as spark discussions on the challenges and innovations shaping the future of space exploration.
5
Call for Science – Student Payload Program (Coming Soon!)
Send your experiment on a space analog mission! This initiative will invite student teams of all ages to propose, design, and develop small research payloads, which will be carried by our mission crew members on upcoming space analog missions. Selected teams will receive mentorship, technical guidance, and hands-on support as they build their experiments and see them tested in a space analog environment.
